In this audio, Kitwe Patriotic Front Youth Secretary Charles Kabwita announces his resignation from the ruling party saying he will join a party where most “old PF members are going”.
Kabwita said he has carefully considered what had been happening in the party.
“After careful thought and consideration, I have decided to resign from my position as youth secretary and from Patriotic Front with immediate effect. Although there is much to say, I believe the reason leading to this decision are known by the party. I have failed to adjust and work with the New patriotic front which have embraced the Movement for Muilt party Democracy (MMD) which we fought out of office. The people of Zambia decided to remove MMD because of their corrupt activities,” said Kabwita, who is also a former Chimwemwe PF councillor.
“I feel that it is a time for new challenges and experience as I will be joining a new party where most of the old patriotic front members are going. If you have any questions, I will be happy to discuss this decision with you further.”
