THE Lusaka High Court has declined to set aside a statement of claim in a matter in which Honeybee Pharmacy Limited has sued the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA), seeking an order to forbid the authority from revoking its license. Meanwhile, Honeybee has pegged the costs for the dismissed application at K100,000. In her ruling delivered on August 3, High Court judge Catherine Lombe-Phiri said the case was not a suitable one for striking out the statement of claim, and therefore dismissed ZAMRA’s application. “A perusal of the writ of summons and statement of claim shows that there are certain claims that are under contention.
