Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation Director General Richard Mwanza has granted UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema an opportunity to feature on Sunday Interview.

On Monday, UPND spokesperson Charles Kakoma wrote to Mwanza requesting that the opposition leader be featured on Sunday Interview, a programme which predominantly features government and ruling party officials.

And in his reply, Mwanza granted the request, asking Hichilema to go to the studio today to pre-record the programme.

“I write to inform you that we have made a special consideration of your request and waived our schedule to accommodate Mr Hakainde Hichilema on Sunday Interview on Sunday December 17, 2017. Kindly note that Sunday Interview is a recorded programme and in this regard, we propose that Mr Hichilema like all our guests is recorded on Thursday at 10:30 hours in the ZNBC studios,” wrote Mwanza.
