FORMER Auditor General Dr Dick Sichembe’s lawyer James Mataliro says his client’s resignation from his position is not an admission to the corruption allegations levelled against him by ACC. And Mataliro says the Commission shouldn’t have announced investigations against Dr Sichembe in order to protect the integrity of the Auditor General’s Office. On Thursday, State House Chief Communications Specialist Clayson Hamasaka said President Hakainde Hichilema had accepted Dr Sichembe’s notice of resignation and thanked him for his services.
