THE National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) has announced the immediate suspension of accreditation of private health care providers wishing to start providing NHIMA services to the public. In a notice issued, Thursday, NHIMA Head of Public Relations King Syachika clarified that the suspension would not affect private health care providers that were already providing NHIMA services to the public or the facilities whose applications were at the contracting stage.
