AMNESTY International and Chapter One Foundation have called on the government to immediately end “the escalating crackdown of civic space and repression of human rights”. The organisations have also called on Zambian authorities to thoroughly and impartially investigate the abduction of Petauke Central Independent member of parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda.
