THE Ministry of Health has handed over 115 new vehicles worth nearly $4 million to several of its institutions, of which ZAMMSA has received 66. Health Minister Elijah Muchima says there is always abuse of government vehicles, lamenting that they don’t last long. Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Administration Professor Christopher Simoonga says the purchase of the 115 vehicles is a clear demonstration that the procurement system in the ministry is functional.
