NEXT week Friday will mark exactly three months since the passing of former president Edgar Chagwa Lungu. Yet, as things stand today, his remains are still lying in limbo in South Africa, while his family and the Zambian government remain at an impasse over his burial. Lungu’s death was tragic, but what has followed has been no less unfortunate. To say this entire ordeal has been an embarrassment may even be too mild. It is a national disgrace.
