TWO Lusaka women have dragged Hungry Lion to the Lusaka High Court, for allegedly subjecting their children to eating food which was not safe for consumption. Karen Banda Etondo, a mother to a four-year-old child and Cindy Banda, a mother to a 15-year-old and five-year-old are seeking general damages for negligence, special damages for medical expenses, out of pocket costs and economic losses from Hungry Lion. They are also seeking aggravated or exemplary damages, interests, costs and any other reliefs that the court may deem fit.
