FEAR has gripped Mukuni villagers after a 70-year-old man was on Saturday trampled by an elephant. The fear among the villagers was expressed by Senior Chief Mukuni’s residents during a Bene-Mukuni Traditional Celebrations organising meeting held on Sunday at Lumpasa Palace, chaired by Malumo Nguni and attended by Chief Mukuni’s wife, Veronica. “We have been advised by the Mwendabeli (Prime Minister) to move this meeting here (Lumpasa Palace) instead of Simukale Shrine area because there is a dangerous elephant in the area that has so far killed two people.
