KABWATA constituency aspiring candidate Mainda Simaata has accused the ruling party of sending emissaries to bribe and threaten him to withdraw from the August polls. Simaata, who recently resigned from the UPND after serving as Kamwala Ward 5 Councillor, says he will not withdraw from the race. In a Facebook post on Friday, Simataa told his followers that if anything happened to him during and after the elections, it would be because he refused to withdraw from the Kabwata race.
