PEOPLE’S Alliance for Change (PAC) leader Andyford Banda says he stepped down as OPP presidential running mate due to breaches of the alliance agreement. On Wednesday, Organised People’s Party president Brian Mushimba announced that Banda had stepped down as his running mate for the forthcoming general election. In a statement, Banda noted that the OPP shifted its promised substantial campaign budget to a much smaller figure. “The OPP approached PAC to join together as electoral partners, and PAC agreed on clearly defined terms.
