FORMER vice-president Enock Kavindele says it would have been pointless for Brian Mundubile to petition President Hakainde Hichilema’s re-election, arguing that the massive votes President Hichilema garnered demonstrate citizens’ approval. Kavindele says President Hichilema received more votes even in areas that didn’t give him votes in 2021, adding that citizens should now unite and work together for the betterment of the country. NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile said he had rejected the presidential results and that his party would seek legal redress to challenge the election.
