KALABO Chief Resident Magistrate’s Vincent Monze has granted Moses Ng’andwe, alias Chester, Winston Ngosa, popularly known as IDC Light Comedy, and 14 others bail of K5,000 each with two working sureties in their own recognizance. This was after the 16 appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to the offence of Riotous Behavior on Friday. However, two non-artists among the 16 suspects charged with possession of offensive weapons did not enter a plea, as they are awaiting prosecutorial consent from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
