THE Zambian Civil Liberties Union (ZCLU) says there is no law that mandates the Electoral Commission of Zambia to cancel and conduct fresh parliamentary elections. Meanwhile, Mandevu Independent parliamentary candidate Adrian Banda says he is yet to receive official communication from the ECZ, on the fresh election that is yet to be conducted in the constituency. ECZ has announced that it will hold a fresh parliamentary election in Mandevu Constituency, following a security incident at the totalling centre that prevented the declaration of results.
