FORMER UPND member Paul Moonga says he will stand by Brian Mundubile, as he cannot abandon his brother who is in detention. Moonga says he is actually ready to go to prison for defending Mundubile. Before joining UPND in April last year, Moonga left the Patriotic Front after the 2021 elections and joined Fred M’membe’s Socialist Party, where he served on its National Management Committee. He later resigned and rejoined UPND. Just two weeks before the 2026 elections, Moonga joined Mundubile’s NRPUP under the Tonse Alliance, saying he left UPND because it hurt him that President Hakainde Hichilema continued to refer to the PF as thieves.
