LAWYER Milner Katolo says the UN, SADC and church mother bodies have been engaged to negotiate with government, over the treason charges against Brian Mundubile, Makebi Zulu and 16 others. Katolo explains that this is not the first time such a situation has occurred, recalling that in 2017, President Hakainde Hichilema also faced treason charges, until the Commonwealth intervened and settled the matter. This development follows a case in which Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu, along with 16 others, were recently charged with one count of treason.
