THE Lusaka Magistrate court has adjourned sentencing of Henry Kasolo to September 10, 2026, to allow the prosecution to produce his record of previous conviction. Kasolo was convicted of trafficking and importing 73.9 kilograms of marijuana and offering K60,000 to a Drug Enforcement Commission officer, as an inducement for the release of two Thai nationals who were being investigated for drug trafficking. In this matter, in the first count, Kasolo, jointly and together with other persons unknown trafficked 173.9 kilogrammes of marijuana, a herbal product of cannabis, without lawful authority.
