UPND Copperbelt Chairperson Elisha Matambo says President Hichilema should have gotten more votes in the province for his “efforts” to revive it. In the just-ended elections, President Hichilema polled 371,721 votes compared to Brian Mundubile’s 370,085. Speaking when he featured on Sun FM, Thursday, Matambo said he expected more votes for the President due to government’s investment in reviving mining. “I feel that the results that we got do not reflect the input, bringing it back to life, which President Hakainde Hichilema did to the Copperbelt Province.
