POLICE in Kalomo have detained a 39-year-old man for allegedly defiling and impregnating his 13-year-old niece. The man, who is the young brother to the victim’s father, is alleged to have defiled the minor from March onwards, whenever her parents were away. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident, saying the girl is four months pregnant. “The Zambia Police Service in Kalomo District is investigating a case of incest involving a 13-year-old female juvenile of Andeleki Village, Chief Siachitema, Kalomo District.
