POLICE have seized various food, cosmetic and sugar products suspected to have been manufactured or repackaged under unhygienic conditions in Lusaka’s Kabanana and Chipata Compounds. Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi says Jovan Mugisha, aged 25, of Chipata Compound and Ogden Malambo, aged 34, of Kabanana Compound have been identified in connection with the suspected activities. In a statement, Wednesday, Chilabi said Mugisha had been charged with offering for sale goods bearing a false trademark and selling foodstuffs under insanitary conditions and operating a factory without a licence.
