FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says the drop in inflation means that the rise in the cost of living is being arrested. On Thursday, the Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) disclosed that annual inflation had dropped from 6.2 percent in August to 6.1 percent in September. The Agency also disclosed that the economy grew by 7.2 percent in the second quarter of 2026.
