Nkana FC will this Wednesday seek redemption when they take-on Al Hilal FC of Sudan in the Confederations cup on Wednesday.
Nkana lost the first match of the tournament to local rivals ZESCO United by 2 goals to nil at the Levy Mwanawasa stadium on 2 February.
Nkana’s performance in all competition has been uninspiring despite showing signs of invincibility when they beat ZESCO earlier in the Samuel Zoom community shield cup.
The team has gone on to draw two more matches in the super league, the recent one, a two goals draw against Forest Rangers on Saturday at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.
Nkana’s chances of qualifying to the next round in the Confederations cup will suffer a huge blow if they fail to win the match against Al-Hilal of Sudan tomorrow.
A win however will place them in a better position to advance to the next level.
The team so far has a loss, one win and two draws in all competitions.
ZESCO are currently confederations cup group C favourites.
