THE Road Development Agency (RDA) says necessary clauses were invoked in the recent termination of contracts for eight of its directors. Responding to remarks by former RDA Director Communications and Corporate Affairs Masuzyo Ndhlovu that the termination of his contract was irregular, acting RDA Director Communications and Corporate Affairs Anthony Mulowa said the Agency did not discuss matters of separation of employees from RDA with third parties. “The RDA was established as a corporate body of the Public Road Act No.12 of 2002 with the mandate to provide for the care, maintenance and construction of public roads and to regulate maximum weights permissible for transmission on roads in Zambia.
