THE Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) has described government’s decision to sign a statutory instrument to provide for suspension of import duty on mealie meal as a liberal move. But the Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) has insisted that allowing the importation of mealie meal will have a negative impact on the local producers.
