THE Poultry Association of Zambia (PAZ) has lamented that poultry farmers and traders have continued making huge losses due to consistent kwacha fluctuation. In an interview, PAZ Executive Manager Dominic Chanda said poultry farmers were being forced to bear the cost burden, as the price of chickens remains unchanged despite fluctuations in the price of feed, which ranges between K500 and K690. “The Kwacha happens to be the anchor of all economic activities across the poultry value chain.
