THE Centre for Trade Policy and Development (CTPD) says President Hakainde Hichilema’s recent call to remove duties and tariffs between Zambia and Zimbabwe is welcome, as most regional integration challenges stem from limited trade facilitation. Recently, while on a State visit to Zimbabwe, President Hichilema called for the removal of duties and tariffs between Zambia and Zimbabwe in order to enhance trade and grow the countries’ economies.
