LATE PF supporter Suzyo Nyika’s widow, Thelma Maunga, has submitted to the Lusaka High Court that her husband cannot be subjected to criminal investigations when he is deceased. Maunga has insisted that the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) abrogated Articles 16 and 18 of the Constitution by subjecting her deceased husband to criminal investigations and seizing his property, without giving him an opportunity to be heard. She has argued that the “so-called Joint Investigations Team (JIT)” which investigated and seized her husband’s property had no legal backing whatsoever.
