THE State has argued that former Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Lillian Siyunyi is not entitled to any of the reliefs she is seeking in a matter in which she is challenging the process which led to her removal from office. Siyunyi filed a petition in the Constitutional Court last year challenging the process which led to her removal as DPP. Siyunyi, who cited the Attorney General as the respondent in her petition, argued that the Judicial Complaints Commission displayed biases against her and did not form a proper quorum at every hearing, among other claims.
