THE Oil Marketing Companies Association of Zambia (OMCAZ) says ERB’s decision to maintain fuel prices demonstrates government’s movement to stabilise the economy. OMCAZ president Dr Kafula Mubanga says the stabilisation of fuel prices for the rest of the year will depend on the performance of the Kwacha and international market prices for crude oil and finished products. On Monday, the Energy Regulation Board (ERB) maintained the fuel pump prices for petrol, diesel, kerosene and jet A-1 for September. Petrol remains at K25.29 per litre, Diesel at K26.86, Kerosene at K27.02, and Jet A-1 at K28.71, respectively.
