THE Bible teaches that charity begins at home, but for 56-year-old Baptist pastor Austin Mulauzi of Avondale, that teaching appears to ring hollow, as he has failed to pay child maintenance since 2022, leaving arrears of K33,600. Mulauzi appeared before the Chelstone local court where he was charged with contempt of court for failing to comply with a court order requiring him to support his child with his former wife, Nachona Nakawala.
