President Edgar Lungu says he will not hesitate to fire non performing ministers.
According to the PF media team, President Lungu said this when he toured Muchinga province.
The Head of State said he was aware of the electricity and water problems in the province during campaigns and was hoping by now measures had been done to cushion the problem.
“I will not wait until 2021 to fire you, I will fire you if you are not performing,” said President Lungu.
And on his Facebook Page today, President Lungu said his three-day working visit to Muchinga Province would help keep him informed on what is happening on the grassroots.
“I arrived safely in Mpika District for my three day working visit in Muchinga Province. This is part of my grassroot tour initiatives that enables me to be well informed on what is really happening on the ground.
I visited Chilonga Mission School of Nursing which was gutted by fire in October 2016. My government will continue to work hard to ensure that this mission school has a conducive environment for the students studying nursing and midwifery to enable them obtain necessary skills to serve the people of #Zambia,” posted President Lungu.
