TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) has urged individuals who have been appointed to head key public institutions to cut any ties to the ruling party to maintain the integrity of these institutions. In an interview, Monday, TI-Z Chapter president Sampa Kalungu said if such ties were not cut, people would no longer trust the institution as well as the individuals serving there. “We are happy with the appointments of the commissioners and key positions. The only concern is those people who are associating themselves to UPND, they need to really cut that.
