THE Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) says it apprehended 87 motorists for drunk driving during New Year’s eve across the country, with Livingstone and Kitwe recording the highest numbers. During the Christmas period, RTSA apprehended 43 motorists for driving under the influence of alcohol in different parts of the country, with Livingstone and Choma recording the highest number. In a statement, Tuesday, RTSA Public Relations Manager Mukela Mangolwa said the 87 were arrested during a combined operation between the agency and the Zambia Police Service under the “Drive Sober” Campaign. “The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has apprehended 87 motorists for drink driving during New Year’s eve across the country with Livingstone and Kitwe recording the highest numbers…....
