CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has insisted that the proposal to regulate social media and issue broadcasting licenses to online broadcast service providers is not from the government but stakeholders. And Mweetwa says the Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) must enforce the law to ensure that the media houses are compliant, arguing that enjoyment of limitless freedom could be an infringement on other people’s rights.
