HEALTH Minister Sylvia Masebo says two weeks ago, the Zambia Medicine Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) tried to buy drugs exactly like those which were in containers at J&J. And Masebo says there are some indications that more directors at ZAMMSA were involved in the scandal at the agency. Meanwhile, Masebo says President Hakainde Hichilema has directed that there must be a forensic audit at ZAMMSA. On Wednesday, Masebo revealed that 61 out of 73 containers of medication which were supposed to be stored at ZAMMSA warehouse were diverted to a private J&J warehouse without the knowledge of the Ministry and the ZAMMSA board.
