AT Siavonga Secondary School, learning is no longer confined to the classroom, as a K40,000 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) grant has transformed the school into a living classroom through a poultry production project. This initiative equips learners with practical skills while supplementing the school’s food needs. The funding was used to set up the school’s poultry unit, which has so far gone through three production cycles. According to Obert Marimba, the Head of Department for Social Sciences who is in charge of the production unit, the project began with 250 chickens.
