THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has advised Chawama UPND losing candidate Morgan Muunda to seek redress through the legally established process if he is dissatisfied with the outcome of the Chawama by-election. Muunda lost the recently held Chawama by-election to the FDD’s Bright Nundwe. In a recent interview with News Diggers!, Muunda called on the ECZ to compensate him by declaring him the winner, alleging that some of his supporters were unable to vote at one polling station after PF’s Miles Sampa claimed it was illegal. Responding to a press query, Thursday, ECZ Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro said such grievances must be addressed through an election petition lodged before a competent court of law within the prescribed timeframe....
