NATIONAL Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) Director General Michael Njapau says the Authority is owing around K500 million to K600 million to healthcare facilities. Njapau says the delay in paying healthcare facilities is due to the scheme’s lack of financial capacity, stating that there are currently 5.8 million Zambians on the scheme.
