TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) Executive Director Maurice Nyambe says the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is not an attack on government but a measure of progress in anti-corruption efforts. Last Tuesday, TI-Z disclosed that Zambia’s CPI score dropped by two points, from 39 in 2024 to 37 in 2025, indicating an increase in corruption activities.
