A LIVINGSTONE woman is nursing burn wounds after her 27-year-old son poured boiling beans on her after she denied him an additional portion of nshima, famously referred to as ‘bevula’. Brief facts of the matter, confirmed by Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo, are that on February 28, at around 20:00 hours, Alice Moto, 55, of Linda Compound, was at home cooking when her son, Moris Liwanga, arrived and demanded to be served food. “The victim served him some nshima, but he demanded more.
