SEVENTEEN members of a cooperative in Mpika have benefited from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) by opening a bakery using a K40,000 grant received in 2022. Gift Mwansa, one of the beneficiaries at Pharaz Bakery, explained that the group spent K18,000 on a mixer and K19,500 on a double oven. With these new tools, the team has been able to produce over 40 loaves of bread each day, all of which sell out quickly to the supportive community of Kamwanya.
