SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has ruled that the six PF MPs who were alleged to have defected to the UPND have not joined the ruling party but simply expressed interest in joining. Speaker Mutti says the National Assembly wrote to PF MPs Michael Katambo, Sydney Mushanga, Sunday Chanda, Joel Chibuye, Marjorie Nakaponda and Leevan Chibombwe, regarding the alleged defection and they all denied defecting to the UPND.
