THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has validated the nomination of Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu as presidential candidate and running mate, respectively, under the National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP). Earlier, ECZ also validated the nomination of Harry Kalaba and his running mate Moses Mawere under the Citizens First (CF) ticket. Seven parties were scheduled to appear before the Commission on the second day of filing nominations, but only CF and NRPUP were attended to. PF’s Chitalu Chilufya showed up but was not processed and was allocated today, while Enock Roosevelt Tonga’s 3rd Liberation Movement, Francis Mwape’s People’s Party, Forum for Democracy and Development and Kasonde Mwenda’s Economic Freedom Fighters did not communicate with the Commission.
