GOVERNMENT has commenced the construction of feeder roads valued at over K230 million in Rufunsa and Luangwa Districts. Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Permanent Secretary Professor Albert Malama says the roads are scheduled for completion by December 2026. Prof Malama added that the initiative is a World Bank-supported programme under the Improved Rural Connectivity Project (IRCP), valued at approximately $200 million.
