SUSPECTED UPND cadres have burnt Katambalala market in Petauke, Eastern Province, amid suspicions that some of the traders at the market are opposition supporters. According to witnesses spoken to, the suspected cadres were beating and threatening marketeers at the trading place, adding that the cadres allegedly burnt the market around 02:00 hours, yesterday. Meanwhile, Eastern Province Police Commissioner Robertson Mweemba says police are still investigating the matter to establish what caused the incident.
