NRPUP president Brian Mundubile says he has rejected the announced results of Zambia’s 2026 presidential election. President-Elect Hakainde Hichilema has secured a second term in office after defeating his closest rival, Mundubile, with 2,965,326 votes against Mundubile’s 1,856,217. According to a statement from Mundubile issued to Hot FM, Tuesday, Mundubile said his party would seek legal redress to challenge disputed results.
