TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) says UPND’s anti-corruption agenda appears to no longer be a key priority in the party’s revised 2026-2031 manifesto. TI-Z says President Hakainde Hichilema’s inauguration speech did not address key legislative gaps to keep personal interests in check. During his inaugural speech, President Hichilema said the fight against corruption would intensify, and that every public servant should put national interest first.
