ZAMBIANS are very forgiving people, but our politicians take this for granted. Some politicians actually mistake this kindness for foolishness. When they are in government leadership positions and they start to illtreat citizens, they think people are too naïve to see. The funny fact is that it is actually the politicians who are naïve because when they are removed from power, they expect to be treated with such a high level of honour deserving of kings and queens in society. They think people are so dumb to remember how they behaved when in government.
