THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested former director of the forestry department Ignatius Makumba for corrupt practices involving the exportation of Mukula logs worth over K10 million. Others who have been arrested so far by the Anti-Corruption Commission for abusing their offices to facilitate the smuggling of Mukula are: Industrial Development Corporation Chief Executive Officer Mateyo Kaluba; Brigadier General Gilbert Wails Mulenga of the Zambia Army; Zambia National Service director of operations Never Njobvu; former executive director at the Office of the President special division; and Bruce Aongola executive officer at the Office of the President, Special Division.
